Quite a few people running Trail Boss for target loads in the .41...
In the process of loading up some Keith 220s with 8.0 of Unique and then some HPs with 9.0...

Lifetime .41 aficionado here. Over 40 years I've come to the conclusion that Unique for nice loads and W296/H110 for mean loads is all I need. I am currently looking for a 4-5/8" RBH or S&W 57 to finish out my years with. It's the only magnum handgun I have any desire for.
...I've come to the same conclusion on the powders...
With a 210-220 grain bullet from a 4" barrel:
8.0/Unique/950+-
9.0/Unique/1100+-
10.0/Unique/1180+-
H110 takes over from there used mainly in the single actions...
Ruger now has a nice 4 5/8" all stainless Blackhawk... I picked up a 4.25" Redhawk a couple of years ago and it is quite the shooter...

Here is a catch up with no fries
4"Tracker .41
shorten RP brass with Saeco 230 K 7gr of AA#2=902 fps
5.5 gr of AA#5 230 K seated over the first driving band of full length hull 787 fps
both are accurate for me especially the last one-- because of my 65 yr old eyes I shoot at 15 to 20 yards and sometimes at 25 to 35 yards
2.5" and under, is normal with an occasional 3" This is my wooods gun and has been a good one
have more later with HS6 and AA#5
My .41 is my favorite to cast and load for. I was able to find a Lyman 410214 single cavity that is supposed to be like new in the box. Just waiting for my payment to get there and him to ship. Will have to post some photos once I get the mold in. He is an older guy (77) and wasn't tech savvy enough to send pictures of the mold, but did say it looked new. Just happened to see an old online ad with some molds for sale and there it was. This is the first one I've ever sen for sale, so hopefully this works out for the best.
Be sure and tell him to secure the mold halves together. I bought one many years ago that was just thrown in the box. The halves beat against each other the entire trip.
Mould has arrived and looks fantastic. Hopefully I can find some time this weekend after all my kids activities to cast a few to check size and weight.

I couldn’t resist. I cast a few tonight and they come out @ .413 and 177gr with my alloy. Now to cast a handful to run some test loads. Next few weekends are super busy so we will see if I can get some time soon.
Neat mold...I have never seen one...like a round nose wadcutter....
The Lyman catalog says it came in 101, 141 and 181 grain weights...so you must have the "heavy"....
Me either. I have only seen an image online ( http://www.castpics.net/subsite/Hist...LymanMolds.pdf ) but cant seem to find much else. I just happened upon on old online posting with an image of available moulds for sale and contacted the guy. Fortunately he still had it.
I'll bet that if you sent a bullet to Accurate Molds he could put that one in his lineup in all three weights... I'm sure all Lyman did to make the different weights is put the cherry in at different depths that removed a lube groove...
That wadcutter looks like a dandy for dispatching alligators.
Been using a wadcutter mould from Lee for many years for my three 41 Mags. My notes show it as a 41-200-WC. I don’t think it’s made any longer. I’ll try to get a photo today and the Lee number.
Like most WC’s, it cuts a nice clean hole and is a real pleasure to shoot.
Got around to taking some pictures of my 41 Mag WC. It doesn’t have the traditional 9xxxx number. I think it bought off their website under clearance or surplus items.
My parents gave me this one 48 years ago, I fit some new grips to it today.

Don’t know why it put in double pic.
Well those grips merrit a second look...
Those are gorgeous grips.
I don't see a stainless Blackhawk anywhere in the Ruger website (except a long barreled Hunter version with scope mounts). Please advise.
