No reason, other than, it was there, a new production AR 9mm Glock fed handgun with a 2 MOA Gilmore just for S&Gs. Gave it to the wife for her cart gun on the farm, 124g JHPTCs for yotes that recently moved in.

Last one I got is a Ruger P90, found it in a pawn shop and it appeared unfired. At a bargain price too.
A 5.5" polished stainless Bisley Vaquero in .45 Colt and a 5.5" matte stainless Bisley Blackhawk in .45 Colt, both in the last two weeks. I guess I need to swap my Dillon 650 over to large primers again and load some Lee 255 RNFP boolits. GF
Well Yesterday the local shop happened to have a Heritage, Barkeep 22/22Mag that just had to escort me home

Found a couple of good deals online where I didnt have to pay sales tax so added to my 9mm collection (only owned two!)
CZ Shadow 2
Sig P210 Target
CZ P-09
Nosler Pro shop was selling 124 gr HP ammo for $23 a box if you bought 20 or more, no charge for shipping or sales tax.
Kimber Gold Metal II. Waiting for the Feds to tell me I'm a good boy and can pick it up.
I normally don’t fall into good deals, but last week a friend callled about a large estate of guns he had purchased. I ended up with a Ruger p90, 95 and 345 all for 500$. Love the p series so didn’t need any arm twisting to make the purchase
Brand new crvena zastava .32 acp
made and boxed up in hard waxy cosmoline during WWII never shot or issued.
Mauser Model 1910.....25ACP in almost new condition. Perfect bore. With my reloads I can safely get 1,000 FPS with a FMJ bullet.
The pistol is very accurate and I won our "Rolling Tire Target" match. The pistol is fun shooting rapid fire.

In the last 3 weeks I acquired a Colt Gold Cup, SS 45 acp, a Colt Government Model Competition series SS in 45 acp and a Bond Arms Roughneck derringer in 38/357!
Actually there are two, bought just days apart.
A Colt New Frontier .22 LR/Mag with a 6" bbl. This one is good for ~2" at 25 yds from a 'between the knees' sitting rest with the .22 LR cylinder. (CCI Mini-Mags solids and HPs, Federal Auto-Match 40 gr solids, and Winchester Super-X 40 gr solids.) The gun's in about 95% condition with an acceptable trigger, but without box or paperwork...no loss, as I'm a shooter vs. a 'looker'. I found it in a local pawn shop and got it for ~$100 less than the last 5-6, NF.22's on GB.
The 2nd is a Ruger Single Six .32 H&R with a 4-5/8" bbl. This too is about a 95% condition gun and like the Colt, does about 2" at 25 yds with my RCBS 31-98 LSWC cast bullets. I size these to 0.313", cast with ACWW, and lube with 50-50. It's a nice all day load with some authority to it for barn varmints etc. Hornady's excellent 85 & 100 XTP's do as well with moderate charges of Unique, or Win 231.
This 2nd gun came off GB at just over $500 and I was glad to get that shorter bbl. length for dog-walking carry. I'll drop some pics when I have a free moment from fall RV cleanup, winterizing and my wife's endless 'Honey-Do' list.
Best Regards, Rod
Finally decided to “pull the trigger” on J&G Sales Star BM. They had them marked down to $249.
An engraved 1851. Absolutely lovely.
NIB Sig P229 in 40. I’ve been jonesing a DW DWX, but I have serious doubts they will ever be released, and I prefer ally or steel to polymer frames. So I snagged the Sig.
365 sig....just a liter carry than the old comfortable 5906 tactical lol
