Current value on the car is $45K, it's only a year old, it won't get anywhere near that. The hunting trip was canceled due to illness.

We sold our highly modified 57 Chevy truck a couple of years ago...it was nasty quick and for old folks (late 70's then) it could be a little tricky...it went to Arizona where it's been winning trophies as I understand...we needed a "go get ice cream" car and love the 73 Cutlass body style and comfort so we bought a real beauty with factory air, etc...it's pristine and only has 70K original one owner miles....was in St. George Utah where rust is not a word in their vocabulary...we are 80 now and this feels much safer for us and for the folks that wanted to play..I just couldn't resist a good run with the truck.

105 HP...max speed up to 117 mph...4 cylinders :D
I don't know how I missed that one!
I've wanted one since I was a junior in high school with the '86 model came out. I must have read this article 50 times:
http://www.buickhorsepower.com/blog/...ck-with-balls/
I've gotten to ride in a few T-Types/GN's that were in the 10's and 11's, but not a single digit build. There's still a lot of them running those numbers though. Buddy of mine has a vinyl top column shift T-Type. LOL.
Nice ride!
Thank you!
It’s the third one I’ve owned over the years. Two 86s and this 87. It definitely isn’t hard to pull 9s with these cars. Pricey, but not difficult. It’s like the old saying goes, “How fast do you want to go? How much do you want to spend?”
I did most of the work to save where I could, but there’s still a slew of receipts that the wife hasn’t seen, or will EVER see. I make one pass a year at a local track, then they kick me out for no cage (I refuse to butcher the interior) and I wait 10-12 months and go back again. :)
LOL. That's the way to do it.
Even though my stock G8 runs what a stock GN runs, it'll never be in the 9's. It takes a LOT of money to get these heavy pigs going that fast.
Merry Christmas to you.
Any LS powered sedan is pretty cool, though. My old CTS-V had a cam in it that was so lumpy it sounded like a drunken horse walking down a cobblestone street. They’re fun cars. G8 is about the same thing without the overpriced Caddy price tag.
Merry Christmas to you!
