loaded 200 .38 Sp for cowboy shooting
don't you just hate it when a .357 cases sneaks in? Dillon makes short work of turning it into a pretzel
Loaded exactly 73 200 gn SWC for my 1911. Ran out of lubes boolits and had to pull out the Lyman 45 and lube some naked ones with Felix. Last time I tried to load 45 I ran out of prepped brass and had to get out the cheapo Lee and deprime then run them through the tumbler. Been having too much fun shooting single stack. This time I also ran out of naked boolits, gonna have to set up to cast soon or I'll be having to sneak swmbo's 1911 in 9mm to the match.
Called around to see who would buy my scrap brass. One place wouldn't take shells, the others said they would. I went to a place that wasn't in a rough part of town. I had 20 lbs of brass that I've been collecting for the last ten years or so. I got a few bucks, not enough to get excited about, but now I can start over again.
They also have W/W and pure lead for sale. I still have a large amount of W/W that I have yet to transform into ingots, but at least I know where I can get some. The guys there were really friendly too, always a plus!
gun brass was going for $1.30 a pound last I checked
Took some "very, very" ugly looking lead, and turned it in to some beautiful ,210gr. bullet's,,that will joyfully be shot in my 40/60 chaparral,,(.406 dia.) w/ 26" oct.barrel .
Coffee's ready,,,,Hootmix.
changed out the SDB from 38 to 357--4 bolts and it's done
next up the 357 loads
Finished lubing the last of my 45 boolits, then loaded the other 23 rounds left from last night. Still trying to figure when I'm gonna fire the cast in pot to make some more 45 boolits.
Took the Rowell #5 ladle out to the reloading room.

A lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. The #3 didn't have enough capacity to pour one ingot in one pour. And the #4 wasn't available through Prime. Looks like I'm going to have to make it work.
Well I didn't do it in the reloading room , but I finely cooked down the lead I have been collecting this summer , came up with 179 lb coww and 140 soft plumbers lead . I have been putting it off until the weather cooled off but I'm afraid if I waited much longer my poor little burner wouldn't have been able to melt it . I just feel better when it's ready to be cast with in the basement . Life is good
Primed 700 + .32 ACP brass. Load it tomorow.
Straightened it up and it looks great now, it's again ready to start loading in.
Just 100 pieces or so of 358-130. Only difference is I finally jumped on the hot plate bandwagon. Holy cow what a world of difference!
It’s a Oster 1000w. On medium I was starting off with frosted boolits.
Hi-Tek coated 1,500 9mm. Next up the .357 stuff.
Kraken Fan #69
painted the top of my powder container day-glo orange so I can find it easier on my messy bench.
Collected all of the odds and ends .30 cast boolits laying around the reloading shed and "In House" reloading area that were sized and lubed or Powder Coated. Loaded about 130 .308 Winchesters using 2400 Powder (311299, 311290, 311644, RCBS 165 Sil, RCBS 200 Sil, and some Paper Patched .300 170 grains swaged in a Corbin .301 Swage Die.
I've been informed that the loading room is closed until after Christmas! :( I started about 1-1/2 weeks ago with the goal to get all of my pistol brass sorted, sized, tumbled and stored away and ready to load. I started with 9mm. This involved using some of the counter space and the kitchen sink. Due to the extra cooking going on, I got banned from the kitchen. Oh well!!! I did finish the last of the 9mm late last night. I'll start on something else next week, probably the 40's. I needed a break anyway!
