Hi Lathesmith,
At last back to life and casting. Dies required for .357, 125grn TCFP and .451 230g LRN along with punches. A quote please. Jim
Hi Chris,
Happy to see you are still making Star dies and punches. (Hopefully) . Ready to get back to casting. I have about 700 pounds of lead that needs help turning into boolits. I am going to send you a PM . Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Mike Jackson
Did I miss something? I've read Lathesmith retired last fall and now he's back in business? Buckshot has been out of the die making business for several years?
I hope Lathesmith is back in business!
I got a die from him and it is first class!
He closed shop last year, I don't understand why it has not been put on this thread. But I found this at the beginning of this thread, page one, first post.
UPDATE: As of 11/30/2022, I've closed the machine shop, and am no longer making dies. I'll still try and supply the punch nuts with setscrews, and maybe some occasional punch work, as i still have a good supply of both of these on hand. Anyway, thanks to all for your support over the years, it's been a privilege to serve each and every one of you!
Good shooting,
lathesmith

Ok, So now that Lathesmith has stopped making Star dies at the same time I bought a Star Lubesizer I need to know where do I find dies and punches?
Greetings,
Magma Engineering is the only source I know of.

Or, watch eBay. Dies show up several times a week. Be prepared to pay too much.
Cheers,
Dave
Hi Rickf1985, If you find another source of dies let me know. Jim
