I had a somewhat similar experience in a computer language class in college... Except the professor was not all that pleased with being corrected... He blamed me for his high blood pressure and insomnia... I probably shouldn't have been correcting his mistakes though... He had his PhD in Math Education [snicker] and really shouldn't have been teaching a Computer Science course... He told me that he thought that I thought that my whole purpose in life was to point out when he was wrong... I finally got him to believe that this was not the case... Of course, I didn't tell him that that would be like shooting fish in a barrel... I probably should have taken pity on the poor fool, but I was a vet and returning to college and I really just didn't have the awe and reverence of the professors that the fresh out of high school students might have had... Anything related to music, on the other hand, I'm definitely in group #3... Hell, calling me tone deaf would be a compliment...
