I think the record will show that it is young people who do the mass killing. By the way I am 87. Been casting since 1959.

The curve of results actually looks exactly as I would have guessed, with one exception: the bulge in ages 31-40.
I'm 62.. but only on the outside.
I'm 28, just recently started reloading and casting within the last year. At first I started due to the cost of factory ammo, but I'm finding I enjoy it almost more than shooting. I've always been one to build it rather than buy it if I can.
I like the fact of the 31 somethings getting into casting. I may just give all my casting stuff to some young person soon to help them out, in hopes they like doing it and loading the old stuff from long ago. My one question would be, what cases these younger folks are loading and if it's 223 for their assault rifle then that alone bums me out and they get nothing of mine!
Im in that "young person" category (no i dont need your casting stuff) but I do load 223. For some of my rifles. I dont own any "assault rifles" but I do own rifles that are in fact chambered in 223.
But I cast for 9mm, 40 S&W, 10mm, 300BLK, 45/70, 458 SOCOM and idk how many others currently.
OK, do I have to update this if next year I fail to qualify for a lower band? ;)
60 yr old caster here
This thread has been going so long I may have to update my age.
I voted 66-70 but in a couple hours I will be 71,
started reloading in 1960, been casting since 1965 or there abouts, hard to remember dates that far back.

What I’m amazed by is according to this poll there are 7 guys 85 years old or older that are not only still casting but can actually use the internet! Lol Wow you guys are my heroes! That’s awesome!
Started casting age 11 for reduced loads in 1903 30 caliber.
Now age 76.
Still casting.
.Still entranced by the possibilities with the soft lead bullet.
Always experimenting.
So many old people with lead exposure.
