Good to hear you're up and kicking. I've enjoyed your work over the years and treasure the autographed copies of your books; they're sided by Elmer Keith and John Taffin on the "treasure shelf."

Welcome back Mike!
As an aside, another writer I miss is Ross Seyfried. Wish he was still writing actively.
Man, it's good to hear from you, Mike. Please drop in from time to time. You've contributed so much to this field.
Good to hear from you hope your health continues to improve. FB
Good to hear from you Mike. As others have, I have also enjoyed and still enjoy reading what you put out there. Take care of yourself and hopefully things will get better. Please stop by and chew the fat every chance you get.
I have all of Mike's books and he was so kind to sign each one when I purchased them. I for one could not wait for Mike's next BP article.
I have had to wade through several WW11 weapon articles of late but I know where his heart is as all I have to do is pick up one of the books and start reading. I was doing some 45-70 reloading the other day and came across a question in my mind that I could not recall the answer for. That was taken care of by pulling out my Shooting Buffalo Rifles Of The Old West. My question to myself was answered and the loading continued. Nothing but the Best Wishes For You Mike. I have been going through a huge stack of old Handloader magazines with lots of good articles by Mike. It is also interesting seeing the progress made reading 15 years of your articles in a few weeks. I always look forward to new articles by you.
Good to hear from you MLV! I sure can relate to the heart and back problems. Where did you get that cute little pup? I am a big dog lover, too.
I always respect Mike's opinion and enjoy his articles. A lot of what he writes has played out correctly for me at the range. Hey Mike , know anything about a new barrel company called caliber barrels? I just ordered a blank from them for a prone rifle. They are supposedly headed up by former employees of McGowan and remington.
Good to hear from you, Mike. You helped me (and probably many others around here) get started casting boolits. Thanks & drop by anytime, feel better soon.
The little pup came from the local animal shelter where my wife works part time. He is my constant buddy. Sorry, but I don't know anything about that barrel company.
Thanks to to all for the welcome.

Darn you Mike! I bought this book you wrote about shooting lever action rifles a number of years ago. At the time I didn't own a Lever Action....Now I have over a dozen! Including a few I spent some of the kids inheritance on! Whitney Kennedy, 1873 etc....And I even dress up as a dang cowboy and shoot these things every weekend! Darn You!
But it gets worse! Bought some darn book on Buffalo Rifles! A Ballard, Sharps 1874 and 1875, a few highwalls!!! Near nothing left for the kids......And now I'm cutting pieces of paper to patch bullets!
What have you done to me!!!!
(BTW..Hope you feel better and get back to full speed)
Now, now Roy. You can't go offloading the blame on the messenger! [smilie=l:
Hi Mike, finished reading your article on case fillers in the #106 Handloader, Nov-Dec 1983 again. The picture of you looks a little different than your avatar.
I too understand about health issues slowing one down. Glad you are still able to do things you like.
Keep working on the health issues. Good writers are hard to find.
