The selling point of the M80 ball recycled bullets was they were $110/1000 or .11 each. They are at least as good as anything below "match grade" bullets from major Mfg's. They were obviously made by one of the large American Bullet Makers, so why would they not work well?
Everyone I have measured was .3078 which is close enough for anything I will ever do.
I got mine from Top Brass but since the rush they haven't had anything worth buying. As soon as all this dies down I will get another 1000 and a couple of thousand 62 gr .22 cal ones as well.
For informal target shooting and for that matter formal target shooting as well when no money is up for grabs. I see no reason to spend $30-40 a hundred for match bullets when these are shooting as well as they do.
Them Rams and chickens will never know the difference, and I doubt any of the other steel thingies I shoot at would know it either.
Other peoples targets could care? I guess?
