Tumbled a bunch of 45 A.C.P. brass
Well over the weekend I tumbled a good 500-600 cases of 44 mag. Then yesterday I got my 358242 125G 4 cavity in the mail, along with the handles I ordered. 1st 4 cavity, so Ill be trying it out today and really running the PID controller I built on the ol lee 4-20.
I swore at a Lee 240gr GC 44 mold that makes me declare that I'm going to have Tom @ Accurate make me a #255N, every time I use it. I think it's time to do just that!
I finished loading my first "soup to nuts" 100 rounds of BPCR Silhouette .40-65 Win. Previously had my shooting partner casting and lubesizing for me. These are my first cast boolits, sized/lubed and loaded into new Starline brass. I've come to the conclusion that loading and shooting BPCR is a combined art & science with pixie dust sprinkled on it.

Finally finished the deprime and swaging to the primer pockets of 2700 pieces of 5.56 nato brass. The first tumbler is full is dry and the second is running now.
Looks like it's lunch and Ben Gay for this evening. 5400 pulls on the tools left me aching.
Finished inspecting about 350 pcs 223 brass that are now ready to reload and poured about 10# of 358125RNF for my 9mm.
Sized ,cleaned ,expanded and primed 76 x357 cases .would have been 80 but 4 had splits in the neck.now I must prep a load of 223 brass that I've put off for weeks, maybe tomorrow.

I don't see many gun shops these days that actually do machining. Most who call themselves "gunsmiths" these days simply just bolt on commercial parts using existing attachment points. Hell, they don't even drill and tap for scope mounts -- something that was very common when I was younger.
Sized about 150 308 cases and trimmed about half of them.
My harbor freight vibratory tumbler had the 1/4 inch rod strip. Spent an hour or two replacing it. Now to get to work on the .45 ACP brass I just bought.
I made dummies and turned the OD down until they plunked in the cylinder chambered . High tech drill press , fine file , 320 wet n dry . Pull load and fire form .
Well I didn't do anything in the reloading room yet. I did empty some 44 Mag Brass and some 454 Casull brass at the range so maybe this evening I will get to reload some more ammo
Took a lot of measurements of Dillon Powder Funnels so that I can make one on my mini lathe with a "M" type step on it.
Formed about 90 pcs of 218 bee from 32/20 and 25/20
Bought a pre-owned 313226 2C Lyman for some flyweight plinkers in several rifles . Opened a box of new AR 6.8 mags ......... discovered an equal number 223/556 mags I had put away ......And forgotten . I hope I don't have a bunch of those loaded in a can someplace and all those new ones too .
I've decided that it is time to buy the memorandum books for each gun vs the log pages from the manuals by caliber .
