Made a new pin for ideal 429 HP mold and cast some of those
Came home from work to find my order of 223's from Monmouth came today..... so I loaded some of those with CFE223. First time trying this powder.
I had received earlier some powder from Smoke so I coated about 20 or so 9mm's. I'm still trying to perfect this powder coating craft.
Then just cleaned up the bench a little.

What if you woke up this morning with only the things you thank God for yesterday?
Made about 500 .30 cal GC's with my new Freechex III, going to make some more today!
Reassembled my Heritage .22 revolver after some custom work. Loaded 5 test rounds with the Lee 150gr in the .300 Blk ( seated longer & LFC'd) they passed the test. Best , Thomas.
Busy day for me. Burned through almost 50 lbs of lead.

Those little Bator boolits are a kick to cast after you've been doing those big slabs.
Did prep on the 223 cases I've hauled last time from my indoor range.

Using 550 instead of more capable brother (650) because I really like imperial lube for resizing.
100 rounds of .45 Colt, 250 grain Meister RNFP on top of 5.6 grains of Titegroup with a CCI300 to make it all go bang!

Not what I wanted to, wife had other plans
Took the new Forster drill press powered case trimmer for a test drive today and I love it! Quick and easy method to trim a large volume of cases once you get the feel for it. (I was trimming a case about every 4 to 5 seconds once I got a system figured out.) Now I need to cobble up some sort of powered deburing tool since it took much longer to clean up the case mouths afterwards than it took to trim them ...
I had put away my press, thought I had enough ammo loaded up for the upcoming shooting season. I had used the bench for some gun repairs, but finished that. and the bench was just sitting there, naked. So I re-mounted the press and started loading up 45ACP. I am so addicted. I did pry myself away to go shoot 100 9mm, and 100 45ACP at the indoor range. There were 3 nice ladies shooting there with me and they donated all of their brass, so now I have 'stuff' to do. Very nice day
Just a few rules for me no work and no plans on our birthdays that don't involve dinner , family and friends .
I've done zip for months .......
A short day at work, home by 2:00. I got 50 more 45ACP with 200gr hex hollow point done. These I am going very slowly and getting them perfect.
worked on melting down wheel weights to try and put a dent in the "to melt" pile just as I was getting done a buddy showed up wanting some feed wheat, he left with a barrel full and left me 100 pounds of radiation shielding lead, but its in big pieces so I will need to remelt and make usable ingots.
Cut down some split neck 308/243 and made some 45 win mag but need to figure out how to team the neck so it's not too thick
I've been unhappy with my reloading bench location, so I moved it to a secluded spot under the stairs. Got right to work on some 9mm and .357 SIG using the NOE 358-155 ELKO HPs over some 231 and 800x. Most recent casting session was with my Lee melter and a couple double-cavs, rejects back in the pot.
ordered a 45cal 2 cavity mold, sizer and a couple other nic-knacks
Casted 20 LBS of .41 SWC and 20 LBS of .475 WFN. PC 400 .475. Sized and lubes around 200 .50 RNHP. Posted on this thread again and went to bed.
Deprimmed, pin tumbled and sorted 1000 45acp. brass.
Well, you've been looking for an excuse to buy a lathe anyway, right? :)
Seriously though... If you don't have a lathe and only have a drill / drill press, you might be able to find a reamer / tapered reamer in the right size that you make work. Maybe something like this:
