Ruger Super Blackhawk in 44Magnum. 7 1/2" barrel
Two Aero Precision 223 ARs with Socom barrels, built those together. In-law Christmas gifts. Then I bought a complete 6.8 SPC, ARP upper with a 3x9 Redfield, for some reason, that I still do not know about, as I do not even like the 6.8, got rid of the last one......

Spring for the NOE 279-124 fp you'll be glad you did. Drive it over H322 and a #41 in FC brass .
Just bought a nice, clean pre-64 (1958 vintage) Model 1894 in .30-30 for $375.00 ... (Canadian dollars too) ... good bore, good wood, and about 85% original blue.
(That was his asking price so I didn't even argue and paid his price!)
:happy dance:
My young next door neighbour is new to the shooting / hunting game and at the same time from the same seller I bought (for him) a super clean Remington 870 Express 3" chamber / 28" VR barrel with all 3 Rem Chokes (Full, Mod, and IC and the wrench) ... $275.00 Canadian. My young neighbour is now a very happy camper too!

Al,
that is called a "Strawman Purchase" in the US. It is against the law. By now, ATF would have the black helicopters circling your house...
almost bought a glock today, but bass pro wanted a tad too much for it...will keep shopping.
Traded for a Ruger #3. 375Win
Traded for a Browning Medalist & Beretta 21a Bobcat
Bought early 50s, SAKO 300H&H
A Haehnel Aydt in 8.15x46r. No pics yet, just paid for it the other day.
A lot of things are screwed up here in Canada politically, but at least for the time being buying and selling and trading rifles and shotguns is still a fairly simple process just requiring that the buyer show the seller that you have the legally required government issued PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence) for firearms. No muss, no fuss, no "straw man" issues, just a simple transaction.
Just don't ask me about dealing with the purchase and use of handguns up here in Canada ... sigh ...

You could not buy a new 870 Trap for what it cost!
OK, so I JUST bought a '92 SRC in .25-20 WCF a few minutes ago! Been looking for one for quite a while, but I finally found one with a decent "shooter" bore that wasn't badly pitted up from old corrosive primers in that small bore size. It should be arriving in a few days ...
