I so got to get back to being employed so I can score one of these kits. Fortunately, the .22lr sorting is done and I should not run out very soon after I start the squishing.
PM sent.
BUMP for a good cause
I'm in Seattle for work and my wife says I got a package from Oregon... Could it be???
YEP!
Swage on!

Almost forgot about this thread. By any chance have my remaining dies shipped as well? I ask because last week I got one of those "sorry we missed you" notes from USPS about a package they couldn't deliver for some reason. USPS in my area still doesn't know where the package is... I hope it's not the dies.
Nope, was not the dies. Not yet but very soon.
Thanks

Brian just shipped me my 500 S&W Magnum die set!
I'll do a complete write up on that, when they arrive.
I am recently home from my stem cell transplant, and have a lot of restrictions (mostly dietary), but while I am stuck in the house, I will become a busy swager!!!
Point is, Brian is busy, and shipping as he is able to complete sets! Patience is a virtue.
I bought a set prior to the kit offer. Brian asked if it was Ok if he lumped my order in with the rest of the dies (as there were a few overlaps) and I agreed.
Just got home to see exactly how much care he put into all of your dies (at first glance, haven't used them yet) and am as excited (or more) about these as I was when Duke showed me how easy the .44 dies were to use.
Brian IS busy and has asked me to be patient more times than I care to admit openly (he was always nice and openly communicative about it!) but for all you who are still waiting... They are CLOSE!!
Look forward to these as my short set are BEYOND my expectations!! Thanks Brian!!
I am just over in Collinsville, IL and am expecting my dies from BT. When they arrive you are welcome to come over and try them out. I will be swaging 22s, 40s, and 45s. I have a set or corbin 22 cal dies I have been messing around with but expect MUCH better quality from Brian's dies.
I just received my 500 S&W Magnum set from Brian, and will soon be posting a thread on how that set runs.
I produced a few samples yesterday. They were easy to make, and wonderful in result.
It's as exciting as the day some preliminary samples came from Brian. (Previous thread on that subject):

I shipped as much as I had ready. This included mostly the 22 cal core seat dies. This at least will get a few of you closer to completion and one more step to do while waiting for point form die. On that note the point form dies are coming together perfect! I'll have them shipped very soon so be sure and seat a lot of cores!
All orders shipped today should arrive Friday after the holiday. Have a great 4th!
Thanks for all your patience and support.
Brian
I got my die last night, it looks like a piece of art! Looking forward to trying it out. Thanks BT
Up dated my work order list with estimated delivery schedules as well as the four 22 cal point form dies I sent out today. I expect to have 2-3 more point form dies ready to ship this week.

BT -
I'd like to get your thoughts on swaging what you could call either a short jacket or an elaborate gas check. What I'm looking to do is see what can be done with center fire brass to swage the sort of jacket you see on .30 carbine bullets - jacket formation protecting no part of the ogive. How would you?
Thanks!
Edo.
