Pm to you Chris.
Taken care of Rod, thanks.
Just received my die and punch set. Top notch!
Chris, I got the die & top punch today. Very fine piece of Craftsmanship Sir. Its obvious you take pride in your work & Im proud to say I own a piece of art you spin out of a hunk of round stock. My only regret is I didn't order a top punch for my .358 sizing die as well. Expect PP payment for a flat face top punch for a .358 die & also expect future orders from this life long customer when it comes to my Star sizing die or top punch needs. Well done Chris & I "Cyber Shake" your hand.
I have recieved my third die and punch from Chris. Excellent work as always.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it! You all are what make this the best place to hang out in cyberspace!
When you're good you're good. I probably run as many bullets through your dies as anyone & there's never been a problem in Dry Creek's shop.
Finally got my hands on a Star sizer and ordered a Die and punch set from lathe smith. Received my star die and punch today. It was exactly the excellent quality that everyone said. I will order again when I need another size. Thanks, from another satisfied customer.
email sent....
Thanks Chris! My die and punch showed up today. Can't wait to put them in service!
Hi Skullet, apparently your email didn't make it through, try sending a PM.
Thanks,

Chris-
I know you told me the answer to this question before, but I can't remember where I wrote your answer down. What is the maximum diameter the base punch can be in relation to the diameter the bullet is being sized to?
Thanks,
-Matt
Thank you Chris, that 40 die works like a champ.I have everything up and running, made a shovel handle for my star and a couple other mods.
I can not for the life of me be-leave I waited and toiled with that old Lyman lubeasizer all these years.
Question - Are the punches tool steel also, and are they hardened?
I'm looking for a .459" die (old style with flange) and a top punch. I'd like a .06" radius or so on the top entry to the sizing area as I will be seating gas checks. If you make the punch 1/4" longer and leave the non threaded area about .47" I can do the final OD grinding and nose form pocket.
Lathesmith you have a PM
I don't have pictures, one would need a macro lense to get a good picture. This is a quote from Chris:
You might PM him. I have done hundred K plain base but I have yet to see a gas check with my star. Later on this summer, I will give it a test.Quote:

You can send me a PM of what you require with dimensions, and we should be able to get you what you are looking for.
