That's awesome! I'd want one of each just to display on my desk. Little lead works of art!

THIS HAS GOT TO BE A STICKY.

Finally, someone got it.
Bet they sure sound NICE goin down range lol
Look in " Cartridges of the World" at a 500 Whisper. Very heavy, very streamline bullet good for 1K+ yards. So if we made a heavy bullet with a whisle function..... Gives new meaning to "fair chase" in the hunting fields. As to Doppler its been a long time since I saw the formular but I remember 2x the speed etc. So the down range side I'm pretty sure would probably be ultrasonic and the back side infasonic. (sp) Still a fun thought.

They made you a sticky, Dana!
BTW, the bomblet boolit you sent is fast becoming my favorite. I know you think the faceting is a flaw, but I think it makes that particular boolit that much more special. Kinda makes it look like the case is a bunch of sheet metal pieces tacked together. Very cool.

June is creepin up.....
These are the ones I'm trying to get done.
A 6.5mm phillips, the whistle (but it's solid, no real whistling), the soft serve, a pencil and eraser, the old pencil sharpener, and the football I'm cutting now.
The others are conventional and are on the bottom of the to-do list.

The football one really caught my eye so I'm anxious to see if it comes out decent.
It would be a rather deep seated 357, but in a rifle it would spiral down range just fine I think.
Too bad you can't make "sell-able" molds but I realize custom mold making for profit is an expensive endeavor.
I'm gonna jump up and down waving my arms like a lunatic crying for that soft serve in .312 with a nose twist rate at 1:9.5R in a grain range of 175 to 200... :D It just screams as a potential long-range boolit... (this would be me dreaming... )
Another thought for increasing BC on a long pointy would be to have golf ball dimples, but that could be really tricky to cut in a mold, especially where it would have to miss the parting line.
oldpara: Just finished reading all the posts on this thread ... fabulous work and great ideas from all suggestions. What would it take to receive for display a set of those boolits in post # 275? 'Tuck (as in Kentuck)
