Just bought a Walther PPQ Navy. This pistol will be my IDPA CCP Division pistol. I had my gunsmith cut off the threaded barrel so the gun would meet the CCP requirement of a barrel length of 4.25". The barrel is now 106MM in length, just over our imposed minimum handgun barrel length of 105MM.

Just bought a S@W model 19 6in. Barrel, blued!
I got lucky and acquired a nice old BSA Martini International MKII in 22LR caliber. I always wanted a really nice target rifle and then I finally ran across one. I tend to miss out on things like this someone would always beat me to it. I am waiting for the gun range to dry out some from the latest torrential rains we had here. I hate to slog back and forth through the mud to the targets.

Attachment 285691Attachment 285692Attachment 285693I was looking online at a gun store near me that gets quite a few estate guns and their inventory has been really low lately. Yesterday I seen they had a sporterized Mauser 22 rifle in stock so I had to go look. It’s a BSW training rifle that someone rebarreled welded on a custom bolt handle and restocked. It’s a Berlin Suhler Waffen rifle that was made in Nazi Germany around 1939. It’s got a large diameter bolt about 7/8” with rear locking lugs and the trigger is like heaven to touch off. It came with some Bubba scope blocks and rings that I removed and found a weaver L 516 base in my junk parts that fits it well . The other gun is a Iver Johnson Champion in 16 ga. that’s in good tight condition that willl become a 50-70 carbine when I get up and running again. I started downsizing my guns a few years ago and even though I have sold a bunch they seem to come back even faster ?

Chapuis 9.3x74R Express Double rifle
Just bought a PSA 9mm Glock mag fed carbine. Had them on sale, no idea why I bought it. Gave it to the wife for her house gun, I had a Gilmore 2 MOA red dot that needed a gun under it. It shoots 1” at 50 with 124g truncated cone JHPs.
They also had AR-15 complete multi, lowers for $149. light green stock and pistol grip furniture. I have extra blacks, but the green does not look at all bad to me.
Richard, that's the ticket!!!! Well done! A double in 9.3 X 74R is on my bucket list but, it has to be German.
I just ordered an 1861 Colt, Navy. Should be here next week, maybe a little sooner.
Marlin MR-7 in 270 NIB. very accurate
CZ P-10F, hoping it accepts my cast boolits
A Western Field Montgomery Wards 550 Pump Shotgun. It is actually a Mossberg 500 and has gone thru some changes in the last week.

Last related gear I bought will likely be the last I'll buy.
Did a Marine friend a favor, relieving his wife of having to dispose of his lifetime collection of hardware, and associated ammo and accessories.
I never questioned his price and don't really know what I hauled home, but I DO know I need to thin the heard this fall.
Colt SAAs, Walthers, Sigs, a NICE Python, a few 1911s, ARs, Glocks, Rugers, Berettas, TC's, Remingtons, Winchesters, Rifles, Revolvers, Pistols, Shotguns, , a box or two of scopes, red dots, and lasers, bullets, primers, powders, lead, molds, furnaces, tumblers, brass and brass processing gear, factory ammo and other things unknown, but certainly of top quality.
Likely I'll post all casting / reloading related gear here first, starting in the October time frame.
I'd rather have the old friend back, but I'm pleased to do him a service.
Cherish the family and friends you have.... while you can.
I bought a few all at once. I got a Taurus judge for snake back up in georgia. I finished up my ar-10 in 358 Winchester and got an m&p shield 9mm

I just bought a nice old Winchester model 52. I have always wanted one of those I finally found one I could afford that was in good condition. Super happy with it.
I just traded into a JM 1894C in .357 in excellent condition that had been worked on by a reputable local cowboy action gunsmith. I just ordered Skinner front and aperture rear sights for it. I'll shoot the RD 175 grain RNFP TL GC boolit in it with one of RD's loads in either Win 296/H110 or 2400. It should do all I need for local deer and eating size hogs. GF
The last one I remember buying was a 44mag Desert Eagle that I got for $700. All it needed was a new grip and a magazine. so I bought a Hogue grip since I prefer those anyway, and a magazine. I very much like it
For the past 20 years or so I have had an itch that need scratching. I have always wanted a Marlin lever action 39spl/.357 mag. Had A Rossie 92 but did not like it. It was just a son of a gun to clean and it just wasn't a Marlin. Well as luck wiould have it a perfect storm arose where I had $1,150 Cdn in my gun account and a fellow in Calgary has a need for the cash and a carbine for sale.
The gun will arrive tomorrow by Her Majesty's Cdn. mail aka Canada Post. I hope it does as I am off to Ft. McMurray, AB for 4 days starting on Thursday.
The carbine was made in 2012 and has sat in a gun safe for the past few years. Gun looks new. I'll post pics when I return on the 9th.
I feel like a kid on Dec 24. LOL I think I have all my boxes ticked now.

A Llama pistol in 9mm Largo/.38 ACP dating from 1933. This was the first Gabilondo y Cia pistol to bear the Llama name. Note that it doesn't have a grip safety, but is otherwise very much like a 1911. It's an honest 99% condition, and there can't be many left that old in that shape. High quality mfg. and finish. The barrel is 5 1/2" rather that the 1911's 5". This was designated the Model IV, and in a few years the grip safety was added but the longer barrel retained and designated the "Extra" model. I've got one of the Extras, but the same pistol was also marked "Military and Police". I do not have one with that marking, but I'm sure it will be along!
