Lee 358-125 RF
Lee 358-140 SWC penny for scale. Gold black PC
HF gloss red mixed about half and half with the flat black makes sort of a Boston baked bean:

The blue bullets I posted previously are from the Miha mold mentioned but the red/black ones are from a converted Lee mold from Hollowpointmold.com. It was about a hundred bucks which isn't cheap but not as much as most.
I made a few more pounds of them last night. For some reason the lighting is making them look different but they are the same color as previously posted. Mixed in are the last of the flat black ones which I no longer make.

I baked some of them on the hex nuts some the bases aren't coated and I don't think I will do that anymore at least with HP bullets. Casting HP's and setting them on the sheet of screws is just too easy. They don't tip and slide around, you don't get flashing build up, and I don't have to keep replacing foil. I'm actually casting more HP's for that reason alone and may try to only buy HP molds from here on out just because they are easier to coat.
And the link to the spray gun is the exact model I bought. Super easy and I am thinking of buying a second one just in case I break mine. Extra cups seem to only be available now on eBay for way too much. So go easy on your cup if you buy one. Don't get all ham fisted and I bet it lasts fine though.
Here's today's work. All three are Smoke's powders, SD Copper, Blue and Traffic Orange. The blue was ASBBDT, the other were ESPC.

After an afternoon of casting and an evening of PC'ing, here are 544 PC'd .38 special boolits all ready to be loaded:

I didn't cast anything this weekend, but I did coat a few. I am behind on my coating.... I got the bulk done, but still have about 600 more to go.
I made a bunch of these for the H&R 30-30. This is approximately 1/4 Smoke's pink with 3/4 HF red.

and then I made a bunch of each of these too.
Left is same color as above. The ones on right are more of Smoke's SD Copper, orange/brown, and yellow/green all mixed. I just like that color.

My first attempt at powder coating. Lee six cavity 356/124 lrn tl. Harbor freight ES Gun and Harbor Freight powder.
I did a little shooting on Saturday with .300 blackout subsonics. Since I was the only one there, I went and did a little mining after the cease fire time.
I know I had a couple that either grazed the plate or hit the chain holding the plate up. I'm thinking this is one. It was also found amidst a pretty solid clump of bullets/boolits in the sand backstop, so that could explain some of the damage too.

I figure it was probably going about 1,000 fps when it hit. It was cast of my regular range scrap, so nothing super hard or soft. It's interesting to see how far forward the rifling is engraved.
I was going for orange, but didn't have any, so I mixed half HF red with half Smoke's traffic yellow and it did speckle a bit as I predicted, but it "kinda" looks orange. It'll have to do til I can order some from Smoke. :D
