I was doing some googling to see how to ship some primed brass to a member on here and found this web sight that I thought other on here might find interesting as I did.

trucker,
Thanks for your research on shipping restrictions. We all need to know there are restrictions. As a retired Postal Inspector, I know the USPS restrictions on shipping brass. Unprimed, you are good to go; primed is a no go! Ammunition is NOT Mailable Matter per the Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) available at ALL Post Offices.
Drop the primers OUT and ship the brass.
Be well.

Very interesting, and much needed info for those of us who ship brass, etc. Thank you!
Slugster,
Thanks for the kind reply. Everyday on other Sites folks ask about shipping problems at Post Offices. The DMM says it all about Mailability of items. First, most postal clerks never read the DMM and do not know the regs I wrote in the 1990s.
Be well.
Adam
