Thanks for sharing this. It was an enjoyable video to watch.
Nice!
Sam Sackett
Thanks for sharing, seen his stuff before. Just wish he'd teach that kid how to sharpen a hatchet.
This one has popped up on several sites I frequent in the past couple of days. Really enjoy his Youtubes.
Attachment 309976 my original winchester 1873 in 38-40 made in 1883 thats a dream to shoot. i mostly shoot light loads with smokless powder, but have killed deer with black powder loads useing a 180 gr cast bullet and fff powder. inside of 100 yards waiting for a broadside double lung shots, mean meat on the table.
3F Goex is what we use in our 73's. You will be hard pressed to find a better smokeless load.
We use a 220 grain FPPB Saeco 433
Chris, I cant tell you how much I enjoyed watching this video....thank you so much!
I almost passed when I noticed it is 23 minutes long, glad I didn't.
Neat looking country.
..
I SO envy that fellow for his bullet mold/reloading tool! I wish I had one for every caliber I own!
I can identify with this one very well. I also hunt deer with an 1873 Uberti Winchester clone, but mine is .45 colt. Tonight's dinner is venison sloppy joes. Just wish my son and grandsons were here to enjoy them with us.
Been watching this fellow now and then on Utube he posting for years. As I recall he started with a patch & ball pedersoli and continually advanced his weaponry. I know for sure he lives in germany and films there too. Nothing drastic just easy watching videos. Thanks for the memory's Chris T.
His videos have always been great hunting or shooting entertainment!
A search using "capandball" on youtube will bring his material up
that was very enjoyable to watch. that guy is serious about his hobby, and very good at it.
