Another Project, Vintage Savage Rifles
Savage Rifles. I like vintage 22's in general and I have found that I really like the older Savage offerings.
These four are the favorites, the top three for their accuracy and general overall handling, fit and feel. They are full size rifles and feel like it.
The bottom rifle is equally as accurate though it is a single shot "barngun" in these parts. It's a proven tin can killer. Taking it to the range in the late evening and plinking a few rounds is just pure relaxation.
Model 1919 NRA Match Rifle
Model 1922 restocked with a later stock, possibly a 1923 variant
Model 19-33 NRA Match rifle. This really has the heft and feel of it's centerfire cousins
Marked "Savage Arms" Stevens Model 160 A really fun rifle.
