I have a bunch of .22's from "dogbone" through the 60's ammo from just about every maker.
Maybe I can help fill out a collection.

My neighbor is, but he already has virtually everything ever made.
I collect old .22 boxes.
Ammo is a problem shipping here.
Always looking to fill holes.
What have you got????
Can you post some pictures of what you have?
Gads, I have a LOT of .22's even some bricks but I'll do what I can.
I have many "dog bone" boxes.
But always on the look out for one's I don't have.
Almost all from the trash at the range.
Not a rabbit collector, just something to do.
I wouldn't call myself a collector, but ended up with these from past gun trades, all the boxes are full. No. I won't shoot them, unless the world goes crazy and they are the end of my .22 ammo and I am living in a tent in the forest with my dog. Love the old stuff!
I like the brick boxes, just Rem & Peters, do have a fair collection of 50ct boxes too. I haven't bought any for a while, but always interested in old brick boxes.
Been collecting for 40 years now, let me see if I can find some boxes, sorry for the orientation, been a while. Tack hole box worth $$$$ these days...
Very rare brick, pristine here

I am curious.............. what does an older box of 22 ammo bring? inquiring minds want to know.

many do a wrap on the boxes . there is i food wrap called cling that works. well
many of the old dont fire well. i had a loose box of mix and maybe 20 % would bang , but the big problem was the __hang___ had one go off when i cocked the pistol,
so as a safety use in rifle.
There are many of us that are always looking for older boxes in nice condition with original contents...

I've must confess that I've spent alot of time and way too much money accumulating this horde... starting to let some of it go, but it's really difficult.

Ben, you better hang on to them, just in case.
very cool. My grandpa had a Winchester "bullet board" like in the background of the first photo. My cousin has it and had replaced some of the odd ctgs. that had fallen off over the decades.
I'm not a collector, but do have a Sears "Ted Williams" box of .22 L.R. (only 49 out of the original 50).
I would still try to find room for a "real" Winchester bullet board. Mine is just the large print version... worth $300-$400. A real "Double W" board can bring $25,000. to $30,000. Try to stay "close" with your cousin, maybe he will leave it to you in his will. :)
