Are you able to start that ball without a ball starter ?

Nope!
Well then, that should be part of the "press" operation,,,right ? LOL :bigsmyl2:
Team Termath seems determined to win this round! I like it!
I thought I would post a pic of the Lee Hand Press and some 150 cartridges that I loaded up one afternoon using it. I didn't feel like breaking out my big press to load the ammo and so I sat down and used the handpress instead. I think that people forget that reloading can be fairly inexpensive if you don't use the higher end presses and equipment. Plus the hand press doesn't use up any table space per se either, thus it can be handy if you are living in a RV, out camping, or even want to load up some test rounds at the gun range.
I still remember my first reloading experience as a teenager was with a Lee reloading set where you used a hammer to pound the brass cases into submission and reloading them without using a press. The Lee Hand Press is much better to use instead of those old reloading die sets. But I reloaded quite a few different cartridges using those old hammer die sets at the time.
Nothing wrong with the hand press. I enjoy sitting in front of the TV with mine decapping brass before it goes in the tumbler.
Oh, now I'm going to have to find my round ball mold, cast some bullets and shoot my own Patriot!
I love seeing everyone pics. I already have and Idea of my photo submission. I don't know if I will be a winner, but it should be pretty good if I can get an overcast day.....................even if I have to do it in bright sunshine, you boys will still like it!
PS- I have no camera skills, I have a cheap little digital camera. I just try to take pics like you'd see in gun books and magazines
I like that, Marvel!

I did notice that in his picture that he has a ball starter in it.

It got added after you pointed it out.....in case you were questioning your memory. :bigsmyl2:

Eeeeemmm, I do know about that one. In another 10 years he will need at least 3 deer a year to keep functional. Might be more expensive than mechanical or electrical, but probably worth it.
Thanks, and days like that just make it that much more fun.
I'll get to judging this soon.
