What is the value of moulds that are stamped with the incorrect mould descripion? I have seen one and heard of several. Are they more, less, or the same value of moulds correctly stamped?

wouldn't personally make a bit of difference to me. Function over aesthetics. Maybe a collector of some type would be interested in them? My #50 mold is actually a #50BB.

they changed cherry's and designs so much even they don't know what their molds are supposed to look like.
[I could mention they don't know what diameter to cut them to either but i'll leave that alone]
That's kind of what I thought. The mould I saw recently was a semi-pointed RCBS that was marked ''FN''.Quote:

I have a couple. one I bought off ebay as an RCBS 44-250 KT. It is a steel mold and has a round lube groove and small crimp groove. No markings at all on it but does look like an RCBS type. Doesn't matter to me as it casts great boolits. My other one is a Lee stamped 452-200RF and bought as such but is actually a Lee 452-230 2R TL. It also casts great and was cheap so I just kept it.
A mis-stamped mold is of comparable value as a Lee mold's values increases with or without the box.
