I load using those wads, 700x and ether winchester AA's or Remington Gun Club. They work great and save you shot. I use the load data off the Hodgdon web site. Also use Cheddite or winchester 209 primers.
The Claybuster website will give to lots of info Should be a load chart in the bag of wads. Have used several 1000's on top of Promo and no complaints GW
you should get 525 rounds per 25 pound of shot.
Let us know how it works for you. I only have Clays to use and your results will be great information.
Hodgdon has 13 loads for 700x in AA hulls....... I have used Red Dot, E3, and Extra Lite for 3/4 oz loads with great results.
3/4 oz of 8.5's will smash targets if under 30 yds.
I use clays too with the Hodgdon data. Same wad and they brake clays not you shoulder or the bank.
My 3/4 oz. 12ga. skeet load is 17 grs. of 700X in a Rem Gun Club hull with the same Claybuster wad and a 209 primer of any make except a Fed. 209A. I like this load and lot and it smokes targets on the skeet range when I do my job.
I will let you guys know how these loads shoot, one thing I did notice is the shot did not come up to the top of the wad.I am using reclaimed 71/2 shot
Here it is,I am hooked on the 3/4 oz loads.Easy on the shoulder, plus using less shot. I also shot 7/8 oz loads not to bad recoil using Stevens single shot with modified choke. To finish up the morning I shot one 3 in load with 1 5/8 oz of #6 shot, 31 grs Longshot ,dang it bout kicked me over! Now I'll keep track of how many times I can reload the Rem Gun club hull with the 3/4 oz loads.Have a great day
I use the same wad/hull combination and have reloaded some of them over 9 times with no deterioration of the crimp/hull. I shoot 3/4 ounce loads because it is cost efficient (cheap) and works well for me.
I bought one for similar reason. While it wasnt bad with trap level 9 pellet0 or 8 pellet 00 loads, 6 00 in a 12S0 wad, styrofoam tray wads to make stack height, loaded in a federal paper based hull powered with Winchester Superlite powder was pleasant and tight patterning.
I'm using the loading data included with the wad package, Clay Dot.
I have several pounds and it seems to work well.
I shot about (15) 3/4 oz #8-1/2's with mine they are about 1,325 - 1,350 fps. Also shot 525 Lyman slugs loaded to about 1,250 fps. Everything was very pleasent to shoot. I only had (5) of slug loads, I was getting pretty close to ringing my gong at about 120 yds away once I figured out where they were hitting. They were about 6' high at that range.
The Tac 14 is more practical than I thought it was going to be.
Using 16.5gr of Promo, a Win AA hull, Claybuster wad, the hull didn't seal so well as wanted. A thin overshot card solved the problem for me. This load works well in both inertia and gas operated firearms. The 3/4 oz does well at skeet, ok at trap 17yd but at sporting clays, some of the presentations can be a real challenge on the harder more distant targets. At the ranges which allow it, I use #6 shot rather than smaller. Although the reduced recoil and obvious savings of components are real, I like the challenge too. But then, I take a 410 to sporting clays just for the humbling effect. I'm now on my second bag of Claybuster wads for this loading. No complaints.

So far, I’ve found 2 loads that I like. A 3/4 oz, which I shoot using a full choke and a 7/8 oz I use with a M or IC choke. The recoil feels the same to me but the 3/4 oz load travels approximately 150 FPS faster.
