I do not use 4D for anything, a friend used them, they claimed the tool was worn and wanted him to pay full price for a new tool just to sharpen it. They have your credit card, so. Buyer Beware.
I don’t use credit cards so the rental services are a no go for me.
Maybe you can find someone with a lathe that can do it for less than buying or renting one.
