I’m surprised they didn’t melt down the sides!
It looks interesting. Are those the plastic ones? I use them in shotshell loads for in house and fun loads.

My brother uses polymer self defense rounds that look that. If i am not mistaken the tipped hunting rounds work on the same princpe also. Just with a sharp tip. The idea is is wedges into the lead helping expansion.

what substance are you going to use them on for testing?
signing up to see how this works out
Better watch it, you just copied the "Power Ball" load, Cor-Bon maybe ?
I have a MiHec 45 acp mould with a ginormous HP (pretty much a copy of the Speer "flying ash tray"), this happens a lot.
Doesn't hurt a thing, actually aided feeding in a friends picky 1911.
I mostly pick them out. Don't want to buy more. lol
@Retumbo did you ever shoot those things? What happened?
How/what did the OP use to seat them in the case?
Plastic pellets ought to be ok. Not sure if the ATF would consider steel pellets armor piercing.
That right there is why I quit using BB's during PC. It was a great big pain. It seems to work just as well without em for me. Those bullets do look pretty cool though.
