How do i apply a suficient amount of lube to a Foster slug?
It will be used in an airgun and requires some lube for pure metal to metal contact in the 32" barrel.

Roll the slugs along a file to slightly knurl the edges then roll them in LLA.
Lots of guys used the file trick when shooting Savage ML2 muzzle loaders without sabots. There were cases of file points coming off and gouging the barrels. You’re taking a chance
I might be tempted to try 45-45-10.
It goes on relatively thin and dries hard.
Two thin coats of alox tumble lube is plenty for a shotgun, I'm sure it will work in an airgun too.
I lube .358 round balls for .38 loads by dipping in Lee Alox lube diluted with lighter fluid and letting dry on a sheet of harware cloth. Dries hard and should work./beagle
IMO either Liquid lube or 45/45/10 should work well.
Does not take much, just enough to start seeing a brassy color change. Set on paper in front of a fan to dry and you can cast, lube and load within an hour or 2.
You could try dipping heads and the bottom of the skirt or tumble lube.
