    I always use a loading block when charging cases. Before I seat the bullets, I hold the block under a light, to make sure the cases are all equally charged. I never have had any issues using this method. This is a good system for keeping things...

    I wound up making my own out of drill rod. The Dillon 9mm expander miked only .353, which was too small for .358 bullets which my 9mm's like. I made my new plug @ .356, and a little longer, so I could use heavier bullets if I wished, without swaging...

    I have used the 311291 and 311284, with good results, in both my Krags. There is a joint where the sideplate is attached to the receiver. The bullet noses have to slide over it. Maybe on your rifle, there is an edge there, catching on the bullets.
