It was likely made for a .25-35 Winchester leveraction. The first three numbers are the bullet diameter. (They might drop a thousandth larger.) The second batch of numbers are the weight in grains of the castings. LFN is long flat nose and are...

We just had 1 such arrest locally. A pair of upstanding Florida residents who are here were/are running the "bail money/attorney" scam. One of our elderly called the sheriff and the set up a sting for the "couriers." The popped the guy trying...

I have to admit, I'm not one bit surprised at anything the CMA does. I was born in a large city and lived there until I was 13. A pure rock & roller from the start. My father moved us back to the rural area where he grew up, it was there my country...

I would definitely be on the phone with Ruger Monday requesting a return shipping label. Granted, now and then all gun makers have one slip through quality control that shouldn't have. The biggest issue is, even after installing the new parts...

I discovered long ago, shooting is the best therapy for me when I need to clear my head. When you're concentrating on sights and your trigger pull, etc. it's hard to think of anything else. I'm blessed with a nice man cave for my reloading/casting...

I've had him do several and think he is the best. If I wanted the ideal hollow point mold I would find a good casting steel mold in a shape and diameter that suited me that already performed in my gun of choice, then send it to Eric.

The whole point of the five shot cylinders is to exceed the 32,000 psi pressures most accept as maximum for the 6 shot gun in .45 Colt (Ruger large frame). You can venture north of 50,000 psi. The cylinder is larger diameter too, than the 6 shot. ...

You’re off by a war, try the Great War. I had the 1994 version in 6.5 x 55 which I foolishly let go for a 7-08 model 7 Kevlar SS. I always liked the 8x57.

My $5 solution from a yard sale. I have 3 dehydrators and 2 of them were given to me. I really missed the boat on wet tumbling. I should have done it 20 years ago. YMMV

Not even if I won a mega lottery would I pay that price for my needs in a pickup truck. I've spent the majority of my 67 years in a rural area. If one truly needs a pickup, match it to your needs. I can see the need for a heavy duty truck, and I can...

The above quote is in reference to the shoulder of a SWC cutting in game. This was not disproven, in my opinion. Ross shot gelatin with sand in it after marking the nose and shoulder with a permanent marker or paint and looking at the bullet for...

I have a form and trim die. It’s stupid quick. If I use .308 I don’t bother neck turning but if it’s a 06 length case where the neck forms from the parent body I give it a quick turn. IMHO the form trim die was worth every penny
