I had a 127 that was made in 1970-72. It was a tank and going strong when I sold it because I sold the rural property I had. I did minimal work to it. Belts, oil changes and deck bearings.

It seems a lot of models are out of stock. They introduced a new model but I have not seen it in stock anrwhere. I don't own one but most all people are satisfied.

I smell a scam. Zelle is a quick method to send money from your bank account. A legit business should have multiple ways to receive payment. They should not be telling you how you should pay. I would run.

I found that seating the bullet that large made some rounds that would not chamber. Setting the bullet so it was straight on the case before seating is critical. If there was a slight bulge it can cause the round not to chamber. I was using Lee dies.

The barrel is throated to accept larger longer rounds. Groups fired after the BE groups were normal and did not tumble so I can not assume barrel was leaded. All boolits were coated so less likely to lead barrel.

Misprint in previous post. PF is suppose to be 130 not 230.

The boolits are not being sized down when seated. I have a special powder funnel that neck sizes for cast. Pulled boolits are still as sized .3570 and .3582. I shot some groups with 5 rounds of same headstamp(BHA) and 5 rounds misc. brass. This...

I am in pursuit of a load for USPSA in a CZ 75B Omega. The bore slugs to .3562 and is a 1:10 twist. The pistol was shot in a Ransom Rest at 20 yards. Everything is the same except the bullet size in the two loads. The brass was miscellaneous. The...

My uncle had one and used it for years. He built two houses and made the kitchen cabinets with the Shopsmith. The jig saw was not up to his standards but the rest he used for 30 years. No doubt individual tools are better and more flexible because...

I shake and bake my PC bullets with Smokes powder. I use black BB's in a smaller container. My boolits are acceptable but the coating is an uneven coat. I would like to get a thicker more even coat. What are the secrets to getting a thicker more...

My bench top overhangs the frame of my bench. I use a 2 lb. lard can hung on a nail. Trouble is lard don't come in a can anymore. Old school Redneck engineering.

One thing with the 550 you may want to consider. Your rifle brass will need to be trimmed at some point. There is no way to do that on the 550. I de-prime, resize and trim brass before I start to load rifle on a 550. You also mentioned cleaning your...

wv109323 replied to a thread New To Casting in Cast Boolits
Your mold choice may depend on how you size/lube or powder coat your boolits. Your mentioned choices are fine. There are several quality mold makers:RCBS, Saeco, NOE, Accurate molds and Mi-hec. These are all top quality. Availability is uncertain...

For extra torque use a pair of Vise-grips on the shank of the screwdriver(if the shank is round). If the shank is square use an adjustable wrench. You may need someone to hold the screwdriver in the screwhead to keep from stripping it. I use...

I have the cheap one from Wal-mart. The wires going to coil have burnt or come loose several times. Easy fix but kinda bad during a casting session.

wv109323 replied to a thread Tumbling Bullets in Cast Boolits
The actual bore size of 9mm barrels are all over the map, from .354 to .359. Also there are multiple twist rates for the 9mm, from 1:10 to 1:32. Plus as the previous post you may be sizing down the boolits when you are seating. Most manufacturers...

The round butt slips in my hands when I shoot. I bought a set of square butt plastic grips and checkered them all over. They are square butt grips on a round frame. The gap is ugly but the grips are functional.
