My dad didn’t vote for Trump but I still talk to him…lol. I just have to pick my arguments and learn when to shut my mouth. Trust me it’s very hard to do. But I just have learned when to walk away and bite my tongue. He will come around eventually...

When I take on a 'never done before' project-- I look at the "professionals" who do it for their day job. Most of which have a strong back, a weak mind, and are probably one jump ahead of the squad car.... Then I ask myself, "How hard can it...

There is a article about that in (I think) an older Lyman Cast book. It talked about 'old timers' using chicken fat that had been boiled and the oil part skimmed off when it chilled. They tried it, and it actually did real well.

Somebody ran a classified ad in a newspaper years ago that read: 'For sale- One full set of encyclopedias. No longer needed. Kid knows everything'.

Apertures will tend to be more accurate, but you'll not be able to get your sight picture as quickly as a open leaf. Something I like that I put on my Henry .22 is those bright fiber optic sights. I think the trade name on them is 'fire sights'....

Yep. A real 'monkey wrench' W&B in Canada made a bunch of them like that too.

Suggest you read the "Proper Use of Fillers" thread sticky on this sub-forum. A dacron filler would be fine to use but not as a wad. I use a filler with 2400 in my TD loads with 385 - 415 gr bullets. However, with those weight of bullets using...

That would be my suggestion. Sticking in two different firearms is a strong indicator the problem is with the ammunition.

Same for me. I try not to support any "woke" business. That being said I am purchased a new 2023 Chevy Silverado with the baby diesel. I don't have any other options for what I am looking for.

Scotty: You really shouldn't be using a hammer to seat your gas checks - two reasons: first, the hammer blow could cause the nose of the bullet to expand. Even if this is only .001" to .002" it might make the bullets hard to chamber. Second, cast...

Arrow impacts are surprising loud and hearing the bullet impact game with standard high velocity rifles is normal once the distance gets out there a bit. Same for shooting prairie dogs. If you are away from your shooting partner, you can clearly...

It'll work for any of your rifles, but I think it'd really shine pumped on up in the .30-30. For deer inside of about 100-125 yards or so, I'd hunt with it.

I am in the process of doing the same with a 458 SOCOM. I am also going to suppress one of my prairie/coyote dog rifles. These will only be used with supersonic loads. With PD's the louder the report the further they spook into the holes. With...
