I don't have any intention of working with those bars since I found out what they are. I have seen no data anywhere that it is used for bullets. I believe my father in law purchased that box of various bars at a sale somewhere.

That's a super cool idea, I could use one of my round ball molds. Once you weigh one they should all be the same. According to the data received from BNE, I have about 15# of pure tin from a box of various bar solders from my FiL's estate.

So I got some answers from tests done by BNE, thank you VERY much. The bars labeled IND-1 came out to be 54% tin and 45% indium- no idea how or why he had these but I now suspect he bought this box of material at a yard sale / flea market...

I picked up a Gamo Urban 2 years ago for gray squirrel control. Pokes em in the eyeball at 30 yards. Sadly I have developed an air leak in the charging port and finding the right size o ring has been frustrating. I'm fairly certain it's metric so I...

I will probably just put it in a yard sale. It was acquired from my father in law and in addition to this , which I assume he purchased at a yard sale for casting, I also acquired a 50# box of 50/50 capping bar solder , 22 1 pound bars of 60/40...

Woodbury website states this to be made from 92%tin,6% antimony &2% copper. I'm assuming this would be useful for casting and if so,What would be the best way to render this down to be useable. Thanks DaleT
