The irritation to me is those that buy at regular price and jack it up to be three or four times the regular price. These folks should be avoided at all cost in my opinion. Nothing but greed involved there. $150 plus an exorbitant shipping cost of...

When my dad got too bad they put him in palliative care. That is where they hook you to a morphine drip and don't give you any water until you die. He lasted two weeks after that started. Sure, we all got to go see him and talk to his unconscious...

The multi-K is what I have been using for years. It is very good, but only get that and not the other versions that have other things in them. The one in the green bag is pure.

No, it is not pure. It should be purified before use if you want the best powder possible.

There used to be a song about the old hippie who gardened in self defense. It's not a joke any more. Anything that I don't grow, forage, or shoot I hold in great suspicion.

After looking at the cartridge drawing I think the engineers made a mistake. They have it as a straight taper from the base to the mouth with no parallel section to hold the bullet. That is going to allow the bullet to be seated crooked with no way...

Not personally but I have two of his moulds. Top quality. He's more of a N-SSA guy and can be found with the skirmisher crowd. Since his wife (and webmaster) left he is somewhat harder to contact.

Are you using good pure nitrate and good charcoal? Any more good sulfur is easy, the other two take some doing. 75-15-10 right? After milling are you pressing it into pucks let dry then granulate?

No epoxy will bond to a thermoplastic but you can do it like stubshaft above and create a mechanical lock to get it to hold. If you can swing it you're miles ahead starting with a real stock that can be properly bedded.

For mine I use a Redding 7mm TCU bushing die with a larger 30 cal bushing for sizing and made a seating die with the chamber reamer. You could probably seat with a 300BO or 300 Ham'r die.

The big 150gr Lyman bore rider over about 15gr of 5744 worked well in several competition rifles for low cost practice. They would hold 1.5 MOA out to 300m, plenty good enough to shoot a lot and not wear out the barrels.

I used to shoot cast bullet silhouette with a 243 using the RCBS 95 and 9 grains of red dot. Works great and feels like shooting a 22 magnum.

I did one of those many years ago. The main point is it works better for cast bullet loads at lower pressures as the tiny shoulder doesn't set back. It also eliminates the variable headspace of different brands and lots of cartridges which is a...

If it's a Limbsaver or made from that same material, they all do that. I don't know how many I have replaced because they got sticky and glued themselves to the carpet on the bottom of somebody's gun safe.

If you can find one, the Browning 92 made back in the 1980's is an exceptionally nice rifle. I have the Marlin now and it is decent but nowhere as nice as the Browning.

I normally shoot mine with a 385 grain paper patched bullet from a mold that I made, over a duplex load of 4227 and FFg black. That takes care of the fouling, and the ballistics duplicate the original load so it hits to the sights. It used to be...

Yes, it works fine. Deprime and wet tumble the brass with SS pins to clean it afterward just like black powder. It makes a pretty powerful load, more than black powder.
