Sis-in-law is near Palm Coast, lots of rain and wind but no real damage to her place. Saw the old Augustine fort was flooded. I was in Corpus day after Carla, what a mess! Aransas was even worse. Went out to the island, nothing but remains of the...

Yup, insurance rates for everybody going up this year. She asked why people didn't move their big boats someplace else - I say, 500 mi trip to safe water. Now why the McLaren guy didn't move his? And be sure to get your mosquito spray out, they...

Piggybacking on yours. For once, I got to an offer of shooting books before anyone else, and El Bibliotecario told me to save myself a visit to the post office and just mail him a check. It's been a really busy week, and I just got the check in the...

I'm another who wouldn't bet on that. Mine is a Campbell Hausfield 20g tank, and I've had it 23 or 24 years. I know it will die one of these days. Maybe even today. But I bought it to fix my 77 Plymouth Volare when it welded a bearing on the front...

Devil nailed it, use .358 or .359 bullets for a .357 and your problems should disappear. Lee makes a good 125 gr .358 that with my alloy casts .359 or .3595. Keyholing on 2 guns went away and group size shrunk dramatically.

For us non-glock people, post the cal, not the gun model. My comments didn't apply here. light gray/almost white looking residue -- I've seen that also. But also had some actual leading near the muzzle. I've recovered some bullets, PC is white,...

Went round and round with a guy about this long time ago. 0.0005" diff in bullet dia gives more weight variation than any void! Loaded concentricity - roll around on a flat surface and watch for nose wobble. Stand on the head in a row and look for...

Well I just checked via ammo seek. 9.5 cents ea for magnum small pistol primers by CCI. At that price I am not restocking, nor am I shooting up current supply bought at 3 to 3.5 cents ea as those would have to be replaced by primers which cost 3...

I have a pair of Ruger Mk III 22/45's. (His and Hers) Action is essentially the same, but the 22/45 has a different grip angle for the hand. Much straighter, like a 1911 grip vs the steeply angled Ruger grip. Both have cheap red dot sights...

Maybe because she wasn't the Queen during WWI. She wasn't even born until 1926. She wasn't responsible for WWII, either, as she became Queen in 1952. She, in fact, may well be the one who made a conscience something Royals should have. NOT perfect,...

Even the most modern rifle, if serviced wrong for the climate can have problems. I suspect if the rifle was serviced correctly for the climate they would not have many problems. That being said I think I agree with Kosh75287 that the expedition...
