You hit the nail on the head. I've used Autocad in Architecture for 50 years.....I think and speak in Autocad. That means what I can do in Autocad in 15 minutes takes me hours in anything else....like learning Chinese when you've been raised...

Oh, Autocad can do it now, but my version is the last one that came with a lifetime license, vers. 2016. Now you have to buy an annual license.....and I'm not about to do that.....you talk about non-free...... My version could do it too, but you...

Looks like a keeper! Someday I want to figure out how to make readable labels in Autocad. I could use that often. Maybe its not possible.

I would have never achieved what I have without babystepping Z offset most prints. Critical when you change filaments. That's the reason I have a skirt around the model. With Tyler's recommended pre-sanded polypropylene bed I never have to use...

I had to pay a little more for the EZABL, but I liked the idea of no moving parts to break. It seems to work as well as the BLtouch. I haven't leveled the bed since I installed it. I took the feedtube and nozzle apart today, and found a lot of...

Interesting....even with an autoleveler like EZABL pro? I'm also wondering if my nozzle is shot or clogged.....it doesn't act right.....today is take it all apart day....oh well, every day can't be fun. ;)

So if your walls are .8mm thick...does that mean you are using a .8 nozzle....or are you squeezing .8 out of a .4 nozzle. I get to thinking I've got this all figured out until the next print screws up. I've done quite well up to now, but tonight I...

I escaped that scenario.....just barely....by just by having the fear of such hit me when the sizing got really tuff. Had the presence of mind to stop pushing and thank goodness, a stuck case can indeed ruin your day and my loading room has no...

Valid question.....I actually tried that first.....some primers fell behind the primer tray and onto the floor......so I molded the ramp....and it's so easy to do...just coat the pin and the inside of the slot with vaseline, so the epoxy won't stick...

Agree with that, conditioner! The 3D printer section suckered me in real good! But before that thread influenced me to buy a 3D printer and go off on that fun tangent, I used simpler methods....Ironwrk! Your mod disease may get worse! My older...

Interesting....Creality is still cutting prices on CR10 printers too. I paid $500 for my CR10 version 2 with the 300x300x400 bed, quiet board and Z-triangular supports....regular price now is $420, and on sale today for $380......24% less than what...

I've used Autocad for 40 years....2D architectural design only, because 3D most people don't want to pay for. I had to buy my 3d printer to get inspired to learn the 3D side of Autocad......in fact I didn't really understand that Autocad could make...
