The Lyman OAL of 1.272 is for the Lyman 225 gr 452374. The Lee bullet you are using has a different nose profile. The Lee bullet is intended to seat deeper. The 1.212" OAL you've found is pretty close to the correct OAL for the Lee bullet. As to...

eBay sells a lot of gun/shooting-related items and they prominently use PayPal. Riddle me this: eBay and Amazon won't sell guns, ammo, GC BUT they sell dies, molds, reloading/casting equipment:killingpc:groner::roll:

231 is a great choice. Not sure whether your 120-grainer will shoot to the sights, my guess is that it will strike high, because factory ammo in .32-20 is generally 100 grains. A charge of 3.5 grains of 231 with 100-105-grain soft lead FN bullet...

This bullet has a nice crimp groove. Most cylinders SAA length fit it fine. Very good bet its seated to the designated length. (In that crimp groove) CW

And Brownells. On top of that, you can only buy 1 brick at a time and can't defer the hazmat and shipping between 5 brick lots. Even when prices were around $30 a brick I'd only buy 5 brick lots IF I had to buy primers online

Also check chamber neck diameters with soft lead buckshot and compare their diameter to your loaded rounds. If you seat bullets and crimp in the same operation, with the thin .32-20 brass you might be forming a slight bulge of the case mouth at the...

I've had best results with round balls. A .390-.395 drops safely through most full choke .410s, a .420-.425 in a true cylinder bore. In limited trials with the Savrog slugs they keyholed from my smoothbore .410, but shot OK in a .38-40 rifle.

Unique would be better for light loads than 4227, and much more economical as you would use a bit less than half as much powder. With a 200-grain bullet 7 grains is a good starting load, about 1050 fps at 6700 psi, according to Lyman Cast Bullet...

I'm curious IF all the rounds had dead primers, the broken decapping pin would be in the round with a dead primer or the round before that.
