What size is your bore? Do you have really deep groves? Those driving bands took pretty big compared to the .303 diameter of the boolit.

I had also wondered about the 1903, because I had always heard most US soldiers used Enfields. It’s good to have the facts straight now. He used an Enfield.

This has long been one of my favorites. I’m sure many have seen it. Perhaps they would like to watch it again, or some younger members may like to watch it for the first time. It’s available on YouTube now. Enjoy.

You might mention what you saw to the local game warden or other wildlife people to see if anyone else has seen it or something like it.

You beat me to it. Best solution is to buy a .375 H&H! Otherwise you are probably better off trading or selling it if you can. Maybe you can find some .300 brass here. Post something in the WTB section, as well as the want to trade or sell...

A magnet will work, but you are going to have to start emptying out the rounds one by one. Lucky gun powder is not attracted to magnets like in Indiana Jones.

I recently tracked down an old friend. His birthday was two days ago and when I called to wish him happy birthday, I was told he passed at the end of May.

There could be all different breeds mixed in. Even most pure breeds are not really that pure. If you really think you need to know do a DNA test, otherwise be happy you have a great companion no matter what the mix.

Some younger people don’t even have something to play a DVD on these days. I’d look for the movie on Amazon. There’s also The Pirates Bay if you are into that sort of thing.

I was once in the +45 category after sweeping up some lead from an indoor range floor. Six months later, I was a lot lower. The body can cleanse itself. I’m now what they consider normal for someone who works in an industry involving lead. Is...

Cleaning and filing the contacts may get you a little more life out of the switch, but it’s been my experience, that once they are worn out, it makes the most sense to replace the switch. Things to consider are the size of your pressure tank and...

There used to be a very simple and inexpensive version, that attached to the chainsaw and used a 2x4 as a guide. I don’t know if they still exist. They were popular for squaring up logs, but not really up to the job of cutting a lot of boards.
