Yeah, the volume will be reduced but if you are not trying to push max loads it shouldn't make much difference. I shoot the Lyman 65 gr cast (73gr w/check and lube) using 9.5gr of 2400 for 1950 fps. I have loaded 3.5/4.5 gr of 231 as a 22lr type load...

That might be possible but would take some serious equipment and effort. Are you looking for a few or a bunch?

It probably should be a 100 yd pistol target but I saw a group of Airport security folks being qualified using this target. Several were having trouble qualifying using this target. I had to walk away before I said something uncomplementary.

I worked Corrections in AK for 20 years. Our quals used an ipsc target scoring 5 points for A zone 3 for C and 1 for D. Ranges were from 2 to 25 yds with time ranging from 2 sec for 2 rds at 2 yds to 20 sec for 6 rounds at 25yds. Time started with...

Knock down the high spots but no more using a piece of glass with a piece of 600 wet or dry taped to it. Polish the bottom of the sprue plate the same way. Then lightly leement the bottom of the mold cavity.

There was a science fiction 1 hour or so movie about Oil Eating "bugs" back in the late 1970's if I remember correctly. Basis was that they succeeded in lab creating an oil eating bug to clean up oil spills. The bug "Got Loose" (Reminds me of an...

No guns in the house. Not a problem. Keep them in a safe in the garage. Then when he wants to shoot she can go to the range with him or stay home.

I did corrections for 20 years. We worked 7 12s on days then had a week off and then 7 12s on nights. I switched institutions and they gave some positions straight nights or straight days. I got lucky and got one of the straight night positions for...

I use the 257460 and 9.5 grs of 2400 for 1950 fps. I use that load in both a Savage 23 and a Win 92. That is about as fast as I can push it without losing accuracy. The 25/20 is my favorite small game round and kills very well without exploding...

I have molds from Lyman, lee, rcbs, NOE and even an old winchester. The only molds that don't do what I expected were the Lee bore riders. I have three or four and all have bore rider noses that are too small, from .002 to .005 to small. All Lee...

If your going up hill don't let the rpms get below about 1500. The rangers have a high speed low torque at low rpm engine and should not be ran at low rpm other than to start. If it stalls at 2000 rpm in first run going up hill you will have to run...
