Next you should try pre warming the boolits and then tumble in a butter bowl. Hot enough to still hold. I just set my tray of boolets on top of the oven while the last batch cooks. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk

My first few attempts at PC i had to tumble lube to prevent leading in 9mm Luger only. Now i use PB gas checks on my PC 9mm without lube and bo issues. All other calibers had zero issues from the get go. Sent from my SM-N970U using Tapatalk

In my experience anything thicker than .010 and you end up with a stretched or deformed gas check. I don't know how you're able fit such thick gas check and not come out mangled when sized. Sent from my SM-G950U1 using Tapatalk

Similar story with aluminum blinds, beautiful gas checks but I hate the paint chipping plus they don't want to sit well on the bullet. I was lucky to get my hands on .010" aluminum from a customer, makes great gas checks!

You might want to check your scale too. Hard for me to comprehend how you can have 10 grain swing. Even with poor fill out (round corners and wrinkles) I would get maybe 1 - 2 grain max deviation.

Depends on bullet design and gas check. I found that with some bullets like RCBS and Lee (30 cal) and my homemade GCs Lubrisizer does a better job of seating (grip better) and no need to pre-seat them. With NOE I get perfect results with Lee push...
