15meter replied to a thread Pulling GC boolits in Cast Boolits
This works for me, I've got a piece of baling wire bent just to pull on gas checks. I've gone down as far as 6.5 and had it work, although the 6.5 took a little finagling to get it to work.

I use it in 30 carbine, 22 Hornet and 410 skeet loads. Metering is almost perfect. Never loaded Boomer handgun loads.

I've seen the same thing, used MEC single stage presses are generally under a $100 around here. If you have any gun clubs nearby post a want to buy flier on their bulletin board. There are lots of MEC's in basements and garages that need a new home....

In the documentation for 5744, Accurate states that unburned kernels is normal. I've been loading it for ~25 years. Started in 50-70, I had unburned kernels but great accuracy. Since then I've used it in probably two dozen old, odd wierd...

Baker Air guns in Ohio is another choice, I've bought parts from them, easy to deal with on parts. I've been told their work is good.

Never having done, this is pure unadulterated guess work, start with untreated walnut shells and load them with NuFinish. LOTS of NuFinish. Let the media dry before polishing the cases. I believe the NuFinish leaves a light coat of wax/sealer on...

Maybe not in an very nice English gunsmithed Mark X. Chances of rust creeping into that one little crevice you didn't get spotlessly clean and re-oiled is higher than what I want to deal with. But the smoke cloud would be cool. It would...

My ring magnifying/light recently died. It was always mounted between my two south facing windows. I've been considering it's replacement and have been considering a new location in front of one window where my primary workspace is. My have to...

I've got the first one and I need to take it to a buddy who's got a Bridgeport and have him mill the slot hopefully that will help some. I don't use it as it is. Only thing from NOE I've been disappointed in.

Thanks, I've got the top Lyman manual, don't recognize the bottom manual. Just surprised how little Lyman 457122 data for the 458 I've found. I would have thought that would have been a popular boolit to load. There is a bunch of data for the...

I'll have to log this one in case my buddy decides he need to kill something with the rifle. He's kind of settled on using unique rifles on his hunts. This spring it was a Tennessee hog hunt with a very nice English double in 303 British. Was...

May want to steer clear of lumber that have lots of tannin in also, oaks for one. They will tarnish brass if left in contact for too long. Like when you forget them in the polisher for a couple of days(or weeks). I've heard rumor of people doing...

I lied, I converted the Hornady 308 Match brass into 243, the first box of 300 Savage I found appears to be Lake City, know there's more, just not sure which nook or cranny it got shoved.

I've got some that I converted from I believe Hornady 308 Match brass, probably fired twice. I think minimum of 50, there might be up to 100. Make me an offer I can't refuse if you're interested.

Annealed 60 pieces of 338 Win Mag that are destined to become 458 Win Mag, currently in the polisher to clean of the tarnish from the annealing. Load up the fire-forming load in the morning. Have to size/lube some boolits for the 458 tomorrow.

My Google-Fu isn't working, can't seem to come up with a search string that doesn't get either no hits or a stupid huge number of hits. Looking for load data for the 458, have a couple of molds, Lyman 457122, an Accurate clone sans hollow point...

Which is what I did, just wrote it up backwards, I've crumpled enough shoulders to know that, just not smart enough to put it down on paper. Plan C was in actuality: 1) 7mm Mag, F/L sized with a 300 H&H, then 375 H&H, THEN anneal. Then fire...

The rifle arrived yesterday, first try at making brass was going to be fire forming 338 Win Mag. Won't chamber easily. Suspect the rifle they were fired in had a fat chamber and I won't see the 458 dies until sometime next week. Plan B: Full...

Hope not, 18 grains in a 375 Ouch & Ouch under a cast boolit is just plain fun. And I've only have a couple of pounds on the shelf.

Your local hardware store may have what you need, my local store has 10-32x6" long threaded rod. I just picked up a piece for a Pacific die I have with a bent stem. I have not had good luck bending decap spindles back straight. I've had several...
