I have been trying to find a FL sizing die for the 40-50 BN ,not one anywhere on the planet. CH4D doesn’t answer emails or the phone. I would make sure I could shoot the rifle before I had the rifle chambered in something it may prove difficult to...

Green Mountain did a run of fast twist 1:18 .45 cal barrels for the Hawken and Renegade rifles a number of years ago. So there are 45 cal barrels out there if you look around you may find one. I had a Renegade I put one of the Green Mountain barrels...

Dry wrapped, the bullet is seated in the charged case when it’s finished being wrapped. Wet wrapped has been better on the target than dry in my rifles.

I have not had the same experience as others with their copper checks, spring back was terrible and they wouldn’t stay on. I had to anneal them to use them, never had to do that with Hornady, the aluminum checks are fine.

Depends on cartridge as some are more easily obtained than others. I like 300-500 pieces for each firearm on average, more for multiple firearms of same cartridge. 40-70 SS has taken me about 15 years to get 400 pieces of properly head stamped...
