BrassMagnet replied to a thread New box? in Pay It Forward
Could I suggest that it be a one-time PIF and not a traveling PIF? Continuing PIFs seem to end up causing problems. Setting it up as a drawing would also be better in my humble opinion. More fair to the interested rather than fair to the fastest...

Repacked MFRB is ready to go out. Rules are same as last time. Please post "I'll take it!" and at the end of the month I will choose the recipient from the reply's and send the box on. Current list of contents: As cast, NEI (Walt Melander)...

I am a bit remiss in updating this, the box arrived safely and I'm swapping and adding to repacking now. As per the standard practice for this box I will start an new post with what it contains to start the cycle over again.

Went into Gander tonight to kill some time. I wandered back to the guns section and the isles were bare, not uncommon as since they re-opened they have re arranged the store a few times. As I was wandering around the empty shelves looking to where...

#5 has been my mainstay for .38 and 9mm with plated bullets and some of my cast. #7 gave me some good returns in 9mm with 124g jacketed and with .357 plated loads.

Just for info! 50-70 and 348 Win require the Special handles. Those Special handles are very rare. If you find a set and can confirm the normal dies are too small in them, buy them fast!

Its one step up from my Wolf, I sprung for the BH plug and have only ever used BH209 in it, The Lee REAL 320g shoots real well unpatched for me. I have been shooting it more often since I have a lot of shotgun primers from a trade deal and...

I really detest using poisons/pesticides/herbicides. I try to avoid them whenever possible. I am not fanatical about it. I will use them when other methods fail. With that said, here is a method I learned as a child: Suspend a piece of smelly fish...

If you want multi-cavity, check out NOE. Most of the Lyman or ideal 25 cal Moulds I have seen are singles. It is just so nice to cast with a 4C or 5C.

I would strongly advise against multiple cork wads. Using multiple cork wads in a 9.3x74R case reformed to .410 3” all brass shot shell didn’t work well. Shot shells are very low pressure and rifle brass used as all brass hulls should last nearly...

+1 on the cheap Wally World one, couldn’t find anything worth while at the recycle shops or yard sales. We had done a bunch of tile work we had some worn out blades that work real well, though they are a bit thinner than a circular saw blade
