You can load longer, but it is unlikely to have much effect at 40 yards. On a similar note, I find the accuracy of plated bullets to be uninspiring. You may want to use then for practice, but buy or cast something better for use. Just even out...

This ground has been plowed. If you file an application to convert a braced pistol to an SBR under the “amnesty” program you will use the filing receipt as a temporary stamp for as long as the review takes. However, you can’t switch out the brace...

Fedex says that they charge $44 per package, but I doubt they do. https://www.fedex.com/content/dam/fedex/us-united-states/services/FXE_FXG_Surcharges_and_Fees_2022.pdf I’ve shipped with UPS and didn’t pay a surcharge for hazmat. It looks like...

They learned this by looking at telephone and cable company bills, or maybe car invoices. You’re right, just look at the bottom line, the sticker is just marketing.

There isn’t a mandatory or regulated “hazmat” charge for shipping powder or primers, it’s simply a fee added to the invoice by the retailer. The retailer keeps the money, it doesn’t go to the shipping company. In theory it offsets the retailers...

I have a giraud annealer and an AMP annealer, they serve different purposes and I really like them both. Have run a lot of 223 and 308 through the Giraud, lots of smaller batches and straight-walled brass through the AMP. I don’t recall anyone...

I think we used MEK to glue together polycarbonate to make aquariums, it melts the pieces into into each other. With that thought, center drill the slug, rough up the hole, and epoxy a plastic wall anchor into it. Put a few drops of MEK on the back...

The rule is effective when published in the Federal Register, most expect that tomorrow. I’m in no rush to do anything, lets see how it plays for a couple months.

My first choice is Titegroup under a 147gr or 158gr projectile, but I’ve also used bullseye and W231.

Absolutely. Not sure when it went into effect, but there is now a law that allows an illiquid asset to change hands upon death and defers payment of estate taxes. The government takes a lien on the property and holds it until the taxes are paid. It...

I’m getting out my old timing gun and am going to try to balance the ceiling fan blades using this technique. Never occurred to me and I hate the poke-and-hope method! Thanks!

Everyone is saying living will, but I think they either mean a will or more likely a living trust. Itís worth understanding the differences, or at least that there are differences, before talking about a fixed fee arrangement.

Burning wood chips will reduce the smoke a little, but I’ve also been known to take a seat 100’ away and watch it until the smoke dies down then go flux and stir.
