Mal, I have never checked, do you know if the carbide sizing die is larger in the cowboy set? The expander is. I have the set but haven’t loaded with it in a couple years. Stopsign32v, I have the redding profile crimp die. It’s a fine idea, taper...

There was recently a thread on this very topic. The short version is that antimony will alloy with lead at casting temps, you just gotta have a way to submerge it. Seems a lot less trouble than torching the antimony. Do report back if you try it.

30cal ammo cans. Not exactly cheap at $7 each, but very convenient for things line monotype and linotype that aren’t in ingots.

I think you’re confusing selling with manufacturing. This discussion is about selling bullets that you manufacture, not about reselling bullets manufactured by others. I feel confident that Hornady and Speer are properly licensed.

I think so, converting the water to vapor would cool the potato. When we think of cooling we really think of heat transfer from one object to another. The energy doesn’t just go away, it goes into something else. A hot cup of coffee warms the air...

This. Space isn’t cold or hot really. A molten piece of metal would take a long time to cool sitting in a near perfect vacuum.

Not flaming, but you should ask the AG rather than the LEO, and you should ask in writing since the specific language makes all the difference. For example, assuming that “charlie” is an expert on the law (he is not) he may still have interpreted...

For finishing wood finishes I use bronze wool rather than steel wool because bits of steel become imbedded in the finish and can rust. Not sure if tiny bits of the harder steel will imbed in the stainless. Just a thought. Oh, you might want to...

“Charlie” is full of crap. His response is exactly what you’d expect, his job is to tell you what you can’t do, not what you can do. Besides, you’re asking a LEO a legal question, who thinks that’s a good idea.

I bought the FW Arms decapping die to use with a Lee APP. It is a beast, but too tall to use with the APP because of the handle design. The rollsizer.com machine looks really nice.

If you care, the storage unit contract will probably prohibit storage of flammables or explosives. An air conditioned out building or a root cellar separate from the house would be best.

Geo, you don’t say if “pretty” is a mirror finish or a brushed finish. I hate a mirror finish on a stainless gun and think you’d be forever repolishing it. Brushed is the better answer imho, and for that BRobertson nailed it.

We left them until they were really hanging by a thread, most just dropped out on their own, pulled one or two by just grabbing it with a tissue.

Thats a different thing. If you have total income below $10,000 then you often don’t have to report. If you have a job that pays $25,000 and a side hustle that pay’s another $2,000 then everything is supposed to be reported. If all you make in a...

Because some worked while others did not I’m curious if you identified the differences? If mixed brass some is thicker than others which might give more bullet retention. If some is longer than others they give more roll crimp. Of course there...
