I'm not saying that's cheap (my first reaction was Good Lord!!) but one of those sold at auction in 2018 for $USD2875. So that's, what, over $AU4200?

I don't know if it applies to all accounts but when I get a PM from CastBoolits it emails me. The email can't be answered but the CB message can be read. Include your personal email address in the PM, he may be able to reach you that way.

For casual shooting at up to 200 your 400 grain boolits are all you'll ever need but I get it: no reason not to try different weights. 350 grains are the lightest I ever shot (H&R Buffalo Classic) and recoil is pretty near 'pleasant,' if that makes...

If there was such a thread I'd add two: A Remington 341 and a Ward's Western Field 740 (Marlin 336). Dad taught me how to shoot them when I was 7 or 8 (had to wait till I was 12 for the 30-30) and gave them to me before he passed.
