If both actions are available, I would think that the Winchester 70 Super Short Magnum action might be less trouble to get the short rimmed .475 Linebaugh/.480 Ruger round to feed from the magazine. Maybe just neck up the WSSM brass to .475? Sent...

For your consideration I'm offering a Palmetto premium( FN barrel) Dissipator complete upper combined with an Anderson AM15 lower. 16.5" 1-7" twist, rifle gas. I cut off the front sight legs and recontoured the gas block for scope use. Magpul...

The tag on the pic says Pietta. Their version of the Single Ten, perhaps? I would dedicate that cylinders purpose in life to weighing down paper. OR- see about Pietta replacing it for free. Sent from my SM-A716U using Tapatalk

I just clean them once then proceed to shoot. No matter if it's a single shot or an AR15. I'm not saying anything against barrel break in methods, I just don't worry about it. My 38-55 hasn't seen a jacketed bullet yet, and probably won't. My 30-40...

Put them in a plastic bowl and pour a can of Coke on them. Rinse with water and repeat if necessary. LLA coating (light) will prevent it from happening to stored balls. Sent from my SM-A716U using Tapatalk

I'm smiling; I learned to drive in a Morris pickup. Cute little breakdown prone thing that was built like a tank. Every time I shoot my wife's 999 H&R .22, the Webley crosses my mind. Sent from my SM-A716U using Tapatalk

A foot of 3/4" copper pipe can be used as a non- marring cheater bar for increased leverage in times like those. Or did your last post mean that you broke it? Yikes, I hope not. Sending it to Remington isn't an option anymore...... Sent from my...

I'll ask both of you- was there a K98 "standard" pattern- or did Mauser, BRNO, Sauer, etc. use different buttplates, bands and hardware on the stocks? I've seen laminated or walnut stocks on different K98 rifles. Sent from my SM-A716U using...

I reused a Sako/ Browning .308 barrel to put together a .300 Savage on a 98/22 Mauser. It turned out accurate and handy - so my nephew talked me out of it- and then had me rechamber it - to .308! The price of a box of .300 Savage ammunition scared...
