    i HAVE A BUNCH OF OLDER 45c BRASS THAT WILL NOT FIT IN MODERN SHELL HOLDER. sorry about that. New brass has a small groove cut just before the rim. My old stuff does not. I think my old stuff is REM-UMC. just something to watch for.

    for cast , you may well want an "m" type expander or something that will give a little flare for seating cast. A two die set is not likely to have that, regardless of who made it or how much it cost.

    several companies use the same. Also offered by several compnies was/is the modern update "universal" that will take modern standard shell holders. Lyman, RCBS and C&H 4D will have them.. C&H will have them in stock. Call them. around 25-30 $
