A 38/357 lever rifle is one of the last guns I would ever get rid of. When primer prices come back to normal, it’s almost as cheap as 22LR to shoot with cast. I think I have only fired one tube of full power 357 in my 1894CS Marlin. Sweet, fun,...

I made some MK1 length from 45 S&W brass. A lot of work for 20 cases, then I lucked out finding Dominion 455 Colt and I am a happy camper now.

Oops, sorry. I forgot it’s already spoken for. This 60 and older isn’t for the meek.

I’ll get back with you later today, and see what I can find. It won’t be that many though.

My 1970’s vintage Marlin 1894 44 mag. feeds best with long cases. So it’s easy to down load 44 mag brass. Remember too that straight wall cases can be loaded with carbide dies that need no lube. Currently my 1894 is shooting cowboy loads that are...

Yep, I have that waffle top SC 35 rem. 336 Marlin. That’s why I don’t need to add a 64 Win. to my lever collection. Anyway, in my experience, pistol grip lever guns handle recoil much better. They are just sweeter shooting. The 1/2 magazine tube...

Prefer double cavity but will consider single cavity. The bullet must drop at least .312 or .313 diameter. I can trade other molds, lead, brass or? Thanks

While my late purchase 1894C 18.5” .357 micro groove is not a 92 action, the versatility of a 357 lever rifle is huge. Currently it’s mostly shooting 2.8 grains bullseye behind Lee’s 125 gr. RF bullet in a 38 special case for cowboy action. A 6...

Since I last responded to this, a good friend has a 92 win. takedown in 25-20 that we have been reloading for and casting an old ideal 86 grain lead bullet. He used it over the July 4th weekend for cowboy action shooting. It’s specifically allowed...

Yep, I use about 4.8 grains 700x with a 200 grain FP. Cases are just bit sooty from less tha full case expansion but way better than reducing unique. This is because I use a lot of 700x for shotgun loads. Thatís my cowboy load. Good reduced...

Yep, same at my local trapnrange. Cheditte 9’s we’re $50 per 1k and now they are out. Last time I was there, she had a few primers in but no 7 1/2, 8 or 9 shot. Some powder but no 700X. She had 12, 20 gauge a few 410, but you don’t get a choice...
