I've had good luck finding out what the big guys are selling it for, then put it here about 10& less. It'll turn pretty quick.

When I left the paint store in 2004, we still used one for American Express. Any purchase over $50. we were supposed to call them for authorization.

I get my fishing & lure making stuff from Jann's NetCraft. They may not have everything, but there isn't much they don't stock and have always been great to deal with.

All of the small pistol type ammo is scarce. Pocket size .38 revolvers and autos like .380 and 9mm are in high demand right now. This ammo shortage for them is hitting those calibers and .223 the hardest.

I got a few do-it molds in the 90s when a store was closing. They work fine for me. I figure they recommend pure Lead since the listed weight will be right, and pure Lead will be less sensitive to the correct heat between when it works OK, but...

I figure when they went back to check/verify mine, they checked to see if it had already been cashed, looked at it to see it wasn't a fake, and to kill the serial number on it if it was in the banking system but hadn't hit their data base...

Sometimes its necessary, but normally, I try not to buy much from outside the US because of the customs issues. No matter which side of the border they're on, they tend to "move at the speed of government".

Our little local post office will sell them, but is privately owned- sort of a franchise sort of something, and never has hardly any cash, so they won't redeem them. Our real govt. post office is 20 miles away, and they will. I took one in...

Is it better? Yes. However; unless you live in some extremely humid sort of climate, It's a solution for a non-existent problem.

Either one can load ammo that is more accurate that most shooters, including myself. I've used their .300WshortMag. set and they're great. Most of my others are RCBS or Hornady, and they do a great job too. I've seen that most serious competitors...

Raise the heat. In the alloy and the mold itself both. If you're casting something soft, add a little bump of tin the thin it out and improve the flow/fill out.. To speed things along, (with a old bottom pour RCBS) I start out too hot. When I...

An excise is just on top of the price. Like gasoline, if there is 32 cents road tax on a gallon--- it doesn't affect the world market price of crude oil/gas. It just piggy backs on top of it as the market price goes up & down. An excise tax...
