Shot up the last paper bag of 4831 years ago. Kinda wish I'd kept it for conversational reasons.

Brilliant. In a time of short supply, a new brass cartridge is being marketed to solve a problem that doesn't exist. I'll put my fortune teller's turbin on and suggest it'll disappear soon.

sparky 45 ~ It's your gun, you do what you want. I think you made a good choice. The "medium - medium" is super to hunt with. Other think otherwise, as they may, but I think as a hunter, you are hard pressed to beat the .38-55. Great payload,...

Prayers. DO seek out therapeutics. My daughter had it and got hydroxichloriquine and monoclonal stuff. (My speeling is way off). 36 hours later she was fit as a fiddle. Many other examples around. too many to write off as out of the box.

I've never shot the .300 black out, so my observations will be of limited value for you. The .30 Herrett is a wonderfully accurate cartridge in my contender. If plinking is your desire, it will be hard to beat. I did take one deer with it and was...

There are so many deer here in Maryland I never feel the need to rush anything. If it's not a standing broadside, I just wait. Won't be long for that "perfect" target to show up. As a consequence, mine are "almost" always one shot drop deals. By...

The firearms museum in Cody, Wy. does point of sale tracing on some guns. Membership supports the museum and the service is for members. It's a good thing to support this museum in general and the services it offers are a nice bonus.

Nice rifle! Tokarev has good advice. Check out the muzzle and condition of the bore out there at the end of the barrel. If it's in good shape ~ great. If not, don't be afraid to either counter bore or actually shorten it enough to address the...

+1 on the advice from Thumbcocker. Hope you enjoy your time here at castboolits. This is the place for what you are doing. Paper patching is labor intensive but will give a very clean bore after awhile.

Round balls work fine in mine, but I cast the T/C Maxi-ball for it and a few other ML's. Like the Maxi-ball over the Maxi-hunter. The Maxi-ball has been more accurate for me and OH MY, it's puts a smack on game.

todd9.3x57 ~ I've used bronze wool with some kind of oil (doesn't seem to matter what oil) to work on surface rust. Has worked good for me. I've never found copper wool, but now I'll keep an eye out for it.
